India and art have walked hand in hand since ancient times. Art in India is diverse, rich, and filled with history. From the bustling villages to the quiet towns, every corner of the country has its unique art forms that reflect its cultural heritage. Generations of artisans have nurtured and preserved these traditional arts, passing down their skills and techniques with great care.

Over the years, we have built strong relationships with artisans from various regions known for their exclusive art forms. Many of these artists come from families where the craft has been a way of life for centuries. We understand the importance of preserving these traditions while also embracing the changing times. That’s why we focus on blending traditional techniques with modern tastes, creating a unique harmony that appeals to a broad audience.

At Hum Karigar, we celebrate this legacy through authentic, handcrafted Tanjore paintings. Each piece is created with care, devotion, and traditional techniques that reflect the richness of this sacred art form.

Our journey is led by the founder herself, a trained Tanjore artist with over 28 years of experience. She has created Tanjore paintings in diverse styles and sizes, from intricate tea coasters as small as 3×3 inches to grand masterpieces like the 4×5.6 feet Shree Radha Krishna Raasleela. Today, she works alongside a team of skilled artisans, personally supervising every stage of the painting process to maintain authenticity and quality. With passion, dedication, and attention to detail, the founder and her team ensure that each artwork delivered is truly timeless and crafted to perfection.

The work of Hum Karigar has been cherished and appreciated not just in India, but also by a diverse range of clients around the globe. Our commitment to authenticity, quality, and fair trade has helped us build a reputation that resonates with admirers of craftsmanship everywhere.

Hum Karigar, we believe that every piece of art tells a story – a story of culture, history, and the timeless connection between people and their craft..
